| Introduction | I decided to create this Blog in order to document the novels and stories I read in 2011. In the past I will get ideas for writing or reading a series and then usually forget if I don't jot it down. This is a more serious challenge and reminds me of trying to earn the book badge in Girl Scouts. I remember reading about the badge in the Girl Scout badge book and thought that would be an easy and enjoyable challenge. At the end of the summer when I came back to the school meetings I think my Girl Scout leader was a skeptical. I proceeded to ask her if she would like me to write up comprehensive summaries for each book. She immediately said no and took my write up of the challenge. I kind of want that write up back. Instead I will write this blog and challenge myself in an entirely new way. I tend to read comfort books before I find a new type of read. |
