Introduction	In 2006 we left family, friends, our beloved city and the UK, to live in Sri Lanka, where my husband (Mr NGO) worked for a Tsunami response team. Neither 15 yrs of marriage, nor extensive travel nor even growing up as an Incomer in the Fens, prepared me for this. I am now one of the "NGO wives", a trailing spouse, a mobile mother. In 2008 we moved again, this time to Albania. Then we started all over again. Again. (INGO = International Non Governmental Organisation)
