| Introduction | I'm a 78 year old Metallurgical engineer/scientist that has retired to my farm of 46 years. I have some nice red cows and a bull, 2 pointers, 2 rescue mutts, and a handful of cats. After graduating from an eastern engineering school, I spent some time in the Army Artillery, keeping the bad guys out of Germany. From there it was primary steel processing, power generation heat exchangers, and Nondestructive Inspection Engineering (NDE). For the last 20 years I have supported the civilian and military aerospace with NDE, Materials Engineering, Corrosion, and Failure Analysis support. I have been with the Ol' Country Girl (OCG) for 49 years with three children including a Phi Beta Kappa PhD daughter in military aerospace, a licensed master architect son, and a PE mechanical engineer son in the oil/power business. I am an OKIE from birth, but have visited and lived all over the world. |
