| Introduction | I was born and raised on the eastside of Cleveland, Ohio to two loving parents of Jamaican descent. My life was unique, unique enough to give me a perspective like none other. I've always loved to learn and have come to understand the value of combining lessons inside and outside of the classroom. I've written as a form of expression since I was about 12 years old, but I wasn't taken seriously until years and years of being told of how I lacked any talent in writing. I am now an aspiring writer who writes from the heart. My writing is meant to make sense of the things that human emotions make complicated.
