| Introduction | My name is Howard Schwartz (formerly Howard Eilberg-Schwartz). People are often surprised by my unusual background and the journey I have made from Seminary to Silicon Valley. I have a Ph.D. and taught Religious Studies for ten years at institutions like Stanford and Indiana Universities. I then left academia and worked for ten years in the software industry where I held executive positions in marketing and sales.
