| Introduction | An alcoholic/addict in recovery since Nov. 29, 1999, One Day At A Time, thanks to AA, NA, the fellowship, and the Higher Power. Simple story: started boozing at 14, mostly a binge-drinker for about 15 years. Hit bottom after Peace Corps and failed romance and three-week-long bender. Finally entered the rooms two years later. 12 Steps and sober living have given back my life, my hopes, my dreams, but I have to keep it green--need the meetings, can't do this on my own. |
