| Introduction | Formerly makers of Land Ark Natural Wood Finish, we are now called Heritage Natural Finishes and still make all the same great finishes and offer excellent customer service as before. Our oil finishes were originally formulated for the unique needs of timber framing, but excel on all types of wood and earthen floors. Our products are completely non-toxic, biodegradable, and sustainable. We use absolutely NO driers of any kind. That means that our products take longer to dry, but they get more penetration in doing so, and avoid problems with wrinkling due to uneven drying. The leading green producers of various similar products still use heavy-metal drying agents. They advertise these as lead-free or non-caustic; (lead is illegal anyway), yet many of these compounds are still highly toxic.
