| Interests | I have worked as a waiter, janitor, photographer, professional poker player and policy reporter. I have a journalism degree from the University of South Carolina and a culinary diploma from the Art Institute of Washington. I twice won the S.C. Divisional Men's Fencing Championship. In 2005 I received a grant from the District of Columbia to complete a photo documentary in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood of Washington. In 2006 I self-published a book of poems and short fiction titled "Twelve Dreams." In 2008 I produced a series of mixed-media postcards called "Replicated Detritus." |
