| Introduction | Here's a little about me: I have been a practicing SLP for 20 years. Most of my experience has been working with children with Autism. I've worked in a variety of settings including early intervention, private practice, and most recently back to the schools. Over the years, I have taken extensive continuing education because I LOVE learning and developing my clinical skills. Here a few of the highlights: PECS, PROMPT, Verbal Behavior with Dr. Carbonne and Robert Schramm, Kaufmann hierarchy for Apraxia, Sensory Integration, TEACCH, Social Thinking, Floortime, RDI, Inclusive Practices & various Augmentative Communication Systems. I am passionate about helping the children I work with find and use their voices in order to be heard! They have so much to say. I consider it to be an honor and privilege to be a part of it! |
