| Introduction | Springsteen's music has been a huge part of my personal life ever since my youth when I first listened to THE RIVER, his 5th album released in 1980. I started collecting his records in 1981, soon after experiencing his legendary live performance through bootlegs. My main passion is to collect vinyl discs, particularly official rare collectible LPs and classic bootleg records from the mid-1970s to the early 1980s.
The blog launched initially to give a short break to me just for fun, to forget about work, and then to share my thoughts on the subject with fellow "Boss" collectors worldwide. I have never connected to the official or underground music and record industry. So, what I wrote mostly came from my analysis and speculation based on my collecting experiences, personal communications with collectors, transactions with retailers, and information from publications and websites. Feel free to use or share what you read here, but please mention or refer to this blog (as I still hold the copyright to stuff I wrote). Finally, my handle name is after one of my favorite pieces penned by him back in the 1980s, so don't see me as arrogant, please. |
