| Introduction | I am a retired speech-language pathologist (having worked full-time with individuals of all ages) and am married to a wonderful, supportive husband. We are empty-nesters, with four children out of the home and 8 grandchildren. My DH and I retired on June 10, 2014 to live full time on the road in our 40' Tiffin Phaeton motorhome. We sold our house and set out to see the USA! Then, in 2023 we sold the motorhome and purchased a house in NJ. We sold our AZ park model in 2024 and completed our move to NJ that spring. I love to read and bake when I am not pursuing my fiber arts. I enjoy blogging. I learned to spin in 2008 and have an a few special Turkish spindles. I enjoy braiding on a marudai. Weaving is, however, my passion. For years I had been teaching rigid heddle weaving at my LYS and running a small looms group through our Guild to expose the public to weaving and to teach and share my passion. While I no longer teach, I still enjoy my crafts. |
