| Introduction | We got married in November 2003 in the Boise Idaho Temple. Amber grew up in Boise, Idaho and Mike grew up in Fontana, California. We met while working with troubled teenagers at a residential treatment center located near Provo Utah. We both graduated from BYU--Amber in Rec Management and Mike in Sociology. While at BYU Amber played in the band (fiddle) that traveled with the International Folk Dancers and she was able to go on several amazing international trip! Amber also played in an all womens Bluegrass Band called Silver City Pink for several years. They have one CD and a second one is supposedly "coming soon". Mike joined the Church while living in South Florida when he was 23. He served a mission in Las Vegas Nevada in 1999-2000. We have lived in Boise since November of 2006 and we plan to be here for a long time. Mike has a business called Starmedia Promotions which he co owns with our brother in law. Before we had children Amber worked as a Recreational Therapist with troubled teenage girls. Now, Amber stays extremely busy by taking care of our kids, home, and family. She also teaches fiddle lessons and help out her sister in her photography business. |
