Introduction My identity is in Jesus. Life issues that I have overcome include verbal, emotional and physical abuse; Post Traumatic Stress Disorder; sexual molestation; depression; bankruptcy and losing my home; divorce; deadbeat dad; remarriage; prodigal children's prison sentences; elderly parents experiencing increasingly difficult health issues; teaching terminally ill children; and many more things than I can list. Through it all, my God has been Faithful. It is my prayer that God will use everything I've been through to help others who are going through difficult times - no matter the cause. If my testimony helps even one person find and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, then all of my pain has been worth the journey. "Lord, I offer my life to You; everything I've been through, use it for Your Glory. Lord, I offer my days to you; lifting my praise to you as a pleasing sacrifice. Lord, I offer You my life."
Interests Music Ministry - I love to sing and to share music with children. Missions - especially where it involves children or youth. Celebrate Recovery - there are so many hurting people who need Jesus. Educating students with significant mental and physical disabilities or catastrophic illnesses. Reading, and Spending time with my family and friends. I also love to Journal/Blog/Write.
Favorite Movies Disney classic animated features from my childhood like Snow White, Bambi, Cinderella, and Song of the South. I like suspense, science fiction and chick flicks - but they have to be "clean". I can't watch horror movies - too real in my line of work - or anything with profanity or "adult situations". That stuff isn't enjoyable to me at all.
Favorite Music Christian Praise and Worship; Gospel; and I do enjoy the "Oldies" - Big Band Era greats like Glen Miller; and 50's, 60's and 70's music.
Favorite Books Holy Bible, Christian Fiction - favorite authors are Karen Kingsbury, Terri Blackstock, Noel Hynd, Don Brown, Melody Carlson, Robin Jones Gunn, Beverly Lewis, Judy Christie, and Jennifer Hudson Taylor. Bible Studies by Max Lucado, Kay Arthur, Beth Moore, Henry Blackaby and Rick Warren. Celebrate Recovery study guides. I also love classic literature and classic children's literature. I'm a Bookworm for sure.

Come up with some possible band names for your group that features a washboard and a styrofoam tuba.

Joyful Noise - there's not much else you could name a band with those instruments, LOL. But isn't that what God asks of us - that we make a Joyful Noise?
