| Introduction | Eight years ago I put down the brushes to rest and started to push clay for sculpting bronzes. I studied under notable sculptor Richard Greeves. My figure work is inspired by remembrences of women from my childhood in Sicily. Drawing has remained a constant in my life and I have again returned to painting, incorporating both two dimensional and three dimensional art. Mixing colors has been wonderful, I simply did not realize how much I missed it. My art education includes a BFA from Eastern Michigan University and a MA from Wayne State University. I taught art at the middle school and high school level in Ann Arbor Michigan before moving to Arizona. |
