Introduction | I'm a magazine editor who spends 75 percent of my free time reading food magazines and recipes, making grocery lists, and preparing food. Cooking's tricky, though; the order you combine ingredients, the type of tool you stir with, the level of heat -- it can all make a difference. Or not. You just never know, and I tend to be a little "Oh, well, whatever" when I cook. Every time I mess up a dish, I learn something new, but I forget those valuable lessons between recipes. This blog is where I'll keep track of my lessons, and hopefully those who read it can benefit from my experiences. |
