Introduction	Eric Sparling was a senior editor at Oxygen magazine and a reporter with the Orangeville Banner. Eric has been freelance writing for magazines since 1997, and his editorials have appeared in two of Canada's most prominent newspapers, the Toronto Star and the Globe and Mail. He is the author of Tantramar, a novella published by Breakwater Books. The Telegram newspaper called it "an accomplished and multi-layered piece of work...[with] rich characterization and a gripping plotline." Another of Sparling's novellas, Treading Water, appeared in Angus magazine. He lives in Nova Scotia with his wife and daughter.
