| Introduction | Hi there! I'm Christina and my husband is Kris. We met in June 2003, got engaged May 2006 and married on the beach in front of family and friends in the Mayan Riviera, Mexico in May 2007. Kris and I started trying for a baby in July 2008. It was an emotional rollercoaster every single month realizing that it wasn't going to be as easy for us as it had been for our friends and family. We kept our TTC plans quiet from most people. I confided in a few friends over the past 10 months as I needed to talk about it. Hovering on the brink of an infertility diagnosis and not having others to lean on is a lonely place. We actually had an initial consultation with a fertility specialist on April 15th. It went really well. We were to call back in on day 1 of my next cycle to make arrangements for an HSG. Low and behold, I got to make the call because of a BFP instead of AF! |
