| Introduction | Hello. I am starting my first blog as we anticpate the adoption of our beautiful little daughter from China. I have always loved to write and thought , what better time to begin a blog. A little bit about my husband and I : We love to travel and some of our favorites include Italy, Switzerland, France, the Pacific Northwest including Oregon and Washington state. Lets not forget the Boundary Waters. And I am sure China will make the list. My husband enjoys games i.e. Carcasone and reading. I like photography and hope to get better at capturing moments, things of beauty. I guess you could say I enjoy arty things whether it be music, photography or design. I like reading cookbooks and sometimes actually making the recipes. I like making others laugh even at my own expense. And I do love hearing people stories. We both are foodies and love trying new things. My hope with this blog is to create a written journey of our path to adoption and after, hoping our daughter will read it one day. Also, perhaps as an outlet for my quirky and sometimes demented sense of humor. Maybe it will bring some joy, insight or at least, amusement to others. |
