| Introduction | ! I am a lover of all things beauty and natural hair. I have been natural since 2008, but it wasn’t until late 2010 that I learned what that really meant and how to truly care for and embrace my hair! My hair journey has been just that; a journey! Since my “epiphany”, I have sought to both empower women to embrace their natural hair, and show the world the same. Most of my free time is spent counseling friends, family, and complete strangers on how to embrace and care for their lovely natural tresses. It is truly a passion. I am a firm believer that no natural is created equal haha. I generally don’t classify my hair type because I TRULY have AT LEAST 3-4 different textures, and that just depends on the day of the week! If I had to use traditional scales I would say my hair is a combination of 3c, 4a, and 4b, with a lot of frizz! |
