| Introduction | Loris Buccola began publishing his Sunday Reflections on the scriptures in the summer of 2004. We, his family, have kept his blog as he left it, so that his enlightening and often humorous thoughts on life, death, and spirituality continue to be available to all. The following introduction is as he left it, and reflects the joy with which he lived his life - especially his last few years: I am the 65-year-old spouse of one of the world's great women, Jane; father of three beautiful and creative kids, Ginni, Norm and Johanna; grandfather of Eden (no words to adequately describe her brains and beauty); fortunate son of Loris and Barbara Buccola; father-in-law of Bob and Michael, two of the world's great sons-in-law. I am also the fortunate recipient of great love and generosity from a veritable host of family, friends and professional colleagues. |
