Introduction On a dating web page a couple of years ago, I checked the box which reads, "My friends would describe me as...indescribable". Since this blog isn't necessarily designed to obtain the results that joining that service did, I'll stick to the motto. I work in the law (I'll give you one good guess what it is that I do), so don't expect any juicy tidbits about my cases, judges, or particular impressions of the field generally. That said, law school is AN option...it is not THE option. I've backed away from the ledge as to my Mets...which for some reason has been an all-encompassing hobby over the years (perhaps as much for the reason that baseball and sports inflamed certain powerful forces in my upbringing rather than pleased them). I'm a registered Democrat, but I'm at least as mad at the party for taking impeachment "off the table" as I was for allowing the word "liberal" to become an obscenity in sound-byte discourse...so on this end there's plenty of blame to go around. The only "God" I've felt inclined to have confidence in believing in is the one loosely described in Joseph Murphy's "The Power of the Subconscious Mind." You tell me what that makes me.
