| Introduction | I began pursuing my family history in 2008 after a trip to the Czech Republic and a visit to the Pilsen archives. Holding those 300-year-old parish books in my own hands and discovering the births and infant deaths of my great grandfather’s siblings captured my heart, and I have been in passionate pursuit of my “German Bohemians” ever since. I am chair of the German Interest Group in San Diego. I was the Presenter Team Chair and Syllabus Team Facilitator for the 2019 International German Genealogy Conference, and I presently serve on the board of the Sacramento German Genealogy Society. I have a degree in fashion design from Brigham Young University, and I love to travel with my husband, Steve. We also enjoy biking and snow skiing together. We have 5 children, 9 grandchildren, and 4 foster grandchildren! |
