| Introduction | I am from Spain and studied Nursing at St. Louis University. I fell in love with oncology when I did my Senior rotation at the cancer floor. Cancer has been my whole career and I am not planning to change it anywhere soon. After 18 years of being an Oncology Nurse there are so many things I would like to share with the reader. My own father died of prostate cancer 2 years ago and my sister is a cancer survivor for over 15 years now. Being a nurse I was able to help my family a great deal. I hope that for those who might not have a medical person in their family this blog will be of some help. I love my patients, my coworkers and my doctors. I love children and teen agers. On the side I work with teen age girls in a leadership, faith base program. I love rollerblading and skiing. I love making jewelry. |
