Introduction	There is a Buddhist joke about a pilgrim seeking enlight-enment. He asks his master how long it will take. The master replies: "Ten years." The pilgrim protests: "No! No! In the spring of 2000, after years of questing, I went into therapy with a specialist in mind-body healing. Somewhere along the way, he remarked that the process of self-transformation generally takes about ten years. But I have been working very hard at it, so I guess I have a ways to go.
