| Introduction | James... Well, I didn't really like sailing that much as a small child, got scared! Always loved boats though, any size, shape or state. Started sailing "on my own" in a little 8' lugger (Similar to an Optimist) called Sagapuss, then moved on to a British Moth (No. 594 "Thunder Paws"). Pretty much a sailing drought after that for quite some time, with trips on friends boats and holidays afloat. Then moved to Southampton, slap bang on a marina and all was lost. I think, more through frustration of the constant longing, "The Mate" succumbed and bought Neraida (Half for me as a birthday present!!) to shut me up. The love affair began... The Mate?? Her story will be along presently... |
