| Introduction | I have been a professional photographer for over 40 years, ever since graduating from Ohio University with a BFA in photography in 1968. I worked in newspaper newsrooms my entire career as a photojournalist, picture editor, assistant news editor and page designer. I have always had a love for lighting and studio photography. Knowing studio lighting came in handy when my wife, Bonnie, a successful ceramic artist, asked me to photograph her work. I eventually began photographing other artists work. I have always enjoyed the challenge of creating visual impact through the proper lighting while staying true to the vision of the artist. I have photographed three dimensional pieces including ceramics, leather, fiber, jewelry and wood. I can also photograph two dimensional pieces. I currently work out of my home studio. |
