Introduction	Apolit is a family name in France. It is also Serbia Croat for "Stateless Person." Since I am not French you may surmise what my preferred inference for its meaning is. The name came to me in a dream. No I mean it, literally the writing was on the wall but it was not "mene mene tekel parsin," it was Apolit. I dreamed of a meeting between me and a dear old friend who has long since died, a spiritual mentor and pastor of my early years of faith. It inspired me to return to my old 3xl blog and rename it Apolit. I suppose such a nom de plume is fitting for a man whose family motto is Heb Dduw Heb Ddim, Welsh for, Without God without anything. With God I have all, and am all I need to be, stateless or not. Kierkegaard said, "life must be lived forward, but can only be understood backwards." This blog will be part recollection, part introspection and part plain old inspection of many things as I look backwards to better go forwards.
Favorite Movies	Groundhog Day. Here is a man who needed to learn something very badly, but he got it in the end.
Favorite Music	Impossible to say. I love so much and so many different types. Choral/Opera for inspiration, Celtic for touching my Celtic heart, and R and B/Big Band and Jazz for fun.
Favorite Books	You kidding...Bible first, Earthly Powers for a wicked clever read, Brothers Karamazov to get the head working and understand the interface of spirituality and the reason.
