| Introduction | Sibika't Kultura Records (Manila, Philippines) is owned by Diego Mapa who plays in several bands: Monsterbot, Cambio, Pedicab, Dayuhan, Eggboy, and Tarsius. Sibika't Kultura's name is taken from a subject given to grade school in the Philippines which means "Civics and culture". Mapa created the label in 1998 to carry his independent productions mainly artists Eggboy, Monsterbot, and Tarsius. Mapa has released several EPs on CD-R which are: Eggboy "Taste Test" E.P. (1998), Eggboy "The Unknown Wrestler" (1999), Eggboy "Everyday Starting Today" (2000), Monsterbot "Epekto" Single (2004), Monsterbot "Rhomboids" (2005), Eggboy "Dragzbanny" E.P. (2008) and the Tarsius "Primate" LP (2012). |
