| Introduction | I am the very blessed human to an amazing 2 year old Kai Ken named Koda. On July 7, 2011 Koda went lame after a run in the park. The next day we were at the vet, and he was diagnosed with probable cruciate ligament disease. At first it looked like just a strain, but on July 30 he came up lame again. I knew then that this wouldn't heal on it's own, and decided that surgery would be the only way to help Koda heal. On Tuesday, August 9, 2011 Koda will have the TPLO surgery to repair his leg. This will be a diary of our journey together from surgery to recovery. |
