Introduction	My name is Katie MacDonald and I am a Communications student at Carleton Univeristy in Ottawa, Ontario. Here is what I am passionate about; Media Literacy, Social Media, Social Entrepreneurship, Eco-Literacy, Environmental Justice, Positive Social Progress, Alternative Media, Blogging, Being in Love, and Chocolate! I am graduating this year and my goal is to register for Algonquin College's program titled " Sustainability Education". I want to use my media skills to teach kids to not only be critical and aware of the media, but that they are the most important social ambassadors of this planet and that they must protect it by using the technologies that they already know how to use to inspire and engage !!! Some day I want to own my own business and I want to write a book! (Topic TBA). My favourite book right now is: NO IMPACT MAN. My favourite documentary is: Everything's Cool. Overall, I have had the most amazing, inspiring, eye opening, self discovering year of my life. I am proud to say that I am almost done with my education, but the learning doesn't stop here!
