| Introduction | My name is Vishal Sirohi. I've been writing code, reading code, and living vicariously through computers for a long time. I like to build things that work. I also dabble in swimming, snorkeling and many other water activities. I'm currently a principal engineer at Outreach in Seattle; I spent a decade at Amazon Web Service before moving to Outreach. I work on large scale distributed systems and have been luck enough to build and maintain some of the biggest such system. I spent a lot of time thinking, researching and talking about Web Technologies, Service Oriented Architecture and highly scalable, fault tolerant multi-tenant systems. I have lately been focused on work load distribution and fairness in multi-tenant distributed systems - building highly available systems that provide fair load distribution while preventing cascading failures and reducing blast radius.
