| Introduction | Though Saskatchewan born, and after residing there for over 50 years, Glenn is now living in beautiful BC and is enjoying all that life in the Okanagan Valley brings with the love of his life, Helene. Glenn was an educator and coach since 1968 and recently retired from both pursuits and has been involved in wood turning and carving. The influence of Helene, a well-known visual artist, has been so instrumental in his development. Along with the moral support and instruction of members of the Okanagan Valley Woodturners Guild , most notably Bob Coombes , Errol Redman and Russell Jervis. So instead of coaching basketball and football (among other sports), Glenn now spends his free time turning and carving wood in his Vernon studio. |
