Introduction | Brocha Teichman paints the landscapes of Maryland, the Catskill Mountains, urban scenes of New York city, and the ancient alleyways of Israel, with her oils and (mostly) her palette knives. Her work is widely exhibited in galleries along the East Coast, and in her own gallery in Lawrence, NY. Her work is in numerous private collections worldwide. Today She owns and operates the Art Studio of the Five Towns Inc, an educational art studio, and the Brocha Teichman Gallery, where she exhibits and sells her paintings. Brocha is a plein air painter, a portraitist, an impressionist as well as a colorist. Her widely collected work, is the synthesis of this rich and varied background, and always susrprises. Brocha is a member of the Salmagundi Club in New York City, where she has recently been honored with the Richard C. Pionk award, for her painting, 'Blowing Bubbles'. |
