| Introduction | I am the mother of two sweet little girls who are 6yrs and 2yrs. I stay home with them and do all the regular mom things. I started out educating myself about car seat safety before my second daughter was born. I had posted a car seat picture face book and a friend of mine pointed out a mistake I had made. I started to research my mistake which lead me to other mistakes Id been making. I was shocked at how many things I didn't know. That made me think that if I didn't know these things then there must be more moms just like me who didn't know these things either.I wanted to help others with car seat safety. I searched online for a course on Child Passenger Safety. When I found out there was one in my local community I jumped at the opportunity. I learned so much in those 4 days. I still don't know everything though. I do know the basics now thanks to the class.But the world of car seats is ever changing. New studies are done and new car seats come out. I still read and educate myself at home. I want to keep my children as safe as possible and I want to help other moms just like me do the same.
