Introduction	Shorea Training and Consultancy is an organisation at the cutting edge of training and development in community leadership. It was established in Western Australia in August 2010 by Geraldine Lee & Farid Hamid. Geraldine Lee has a Masters degree from Yale University and Farid Hamid graduated with a Law Degree from National University of Singapore. Between them, they have over 35 years in consulting, designing and delivering training programmes in the field of: (a) diversity education (eg inter-ethnic, multicultural & inter-faith) (b) service learning (c) leadership development (d) environmental education (e) team development (f) adventure education. Shorea specializes in EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING METHODOLOGIES for schools, community & grassroots leaders, government agencies, not for profit organizations & corporate organizations. Utilizing the experiential platform and an inductive approach towards discovering ideas, concepts and issues, Shorea’s `hands-on’ programmes are very realistic and highly effective.
