| Introduction | Bhakti means "loving devotional service" and yoga means "to yoke, or to connect". I came to Vrindavan Dham in the summer of 2013 hoping to find in an authentic bhakti-yoga experience. By the grace of Sri Krsna, Srimati Radharani and devotees, I was led to my diksa (initiating) and siksa (instructing) gurus. I have been submerged in this ocean of devotion for eight months, and I feel the need to resurface in an effort to reconnect with my family, friends and well-wishers back home and share this incredible journey. Also, I hope this blog can connect bhakti-practitioners and anyone exploring bhakti-yoga to Vrindavana Dham. Perhaps it can help them reside always in Vrindavan by mind, if not by body. |
