Introduction	My family has been living in the Appalachian mountains for over 200 years. While I have traveled many places, I have to say that I am still happy to be living in my mountain home and can't imagine being anywhere else. An archivist for 25 years, I still enjoy my work which, I think, is a blessing. I am excited by all the possibilities that technology brings to my work, but I also do not want to lose touch with the old ways of those who lived in these same mountains and filled them with memories.
