| Introduction | I'm a true Island girl to the core. Born, raised and educated in the Caribbean. My husband's job took us to Florida - this is where I've hung my camera by its strap for the past 11 years. I remember when I was 10, asking my parents for a camera for Christmas. I got it. I still have my very first set of photos taken with that camera. As time passed, I dabbled with photography, but never took it too seriously till the new millenium when I was offered the camera of my choice by my sweet husband. Going digital has introduced me to some amazing things that I would never have been able to accomplish with film. My journey as a photographer has also allowed me to meet a lot of amazing people. All my clients so far have taught me some valuable lessons. I get to see a bit of their every day life and the things that give them great pleasure. I am truly grateful that I am able to capture moments through a lens that they can proudly hang on the walls of their homes. I will never forget the first time I saw my work framed and hanging on the walls of a home. It literally took my breath away. For the first time, I saw my work through the eyes of my client and I loved what I saw. |
