| Introduction | I am pursuing my Ph.D. in biochemistry, studying enzyme evolution. Two years ago my life was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder 1. I have learned to manage the disease by managing my stress. To decompress I go hiking and dabble in photography and painting. I recently opened an etsy shop at artbyhelen.etsy.com to share some of my work with others.
