Introduction	About One Hand: One Hand is a registered non-governmental, non-profit youth organization located in Taiz, Yemen. It administers a variety of programs with focuses on community service, human rights, education, media, and health awareness. One Hand operates with the goal of re-imagining the role of education in developing a generation with the confidence, capacity and determination to help shape their local Yemeni society, as well as global communities. We work to find sponsors to fund scholarships for young Yemeni leaders to participate in some of the world’s most forward-thinking education programs. We conduct workshops and awareness programs for Yemeni girls about the importance of getting involved in education. We run educational programs in Yemen to expose young Yemenis to multi-cultural education and help provide disadvantaged youth with access to an academic education. One Hand was also founded as a development tool to help promote long-term solutions and NGO-capacity-building by training young people, monitoring for progress and maintaining rigid accountability. One Hand was founded by Salah Algabli from Yemen.
