| Introduction | I am an American writer living in Poland. My short fiction has appeared in a number of journals, including News from the Republic of Letters, River Styx, and Cimarron Review, and I have won several awards for my stories, including the Robert Watson Literary Prize and the Barry Hannah Prize for Fiction. I moved abroad in 1991, and I have lived in Wroclaw, Poland and Istanbul, Turkey. I currently live with my wife and our two children in Warsaw, where I teach English literature and Theory of Knowledge at the American School of Warsaw. I am currently at work on a novel. |
