Introduction	Hello, my name is Josh Ratza. I am a potter. I spend my time in the studio learning new techniques, designing new cups, cleaning (ugh), and teaching. I really believe in the importance of using handmade objects in your life. They connect us to our world like nothing else can. Same goes with food produced on a small scale. Mass production can never come close to this.....I would wager to say it does damage to us. Ask yourself these questions; Am I enjoying my time here? What would make my life better? What small steps can I do today to get where I want to go? After all this is our ONE chance to live life! So therefore it is ALL about the journey, the day to day experiences. When we die you will take nothing with you.
Interests	Raising dairy goats and making cheese, reading books, raising my boys, and spending time with my wife.
Favorite movies	Princess Bride, Harry Potter series, Castle in the Sky, and anything by Haruki Murakami.
Favorite music	Americana, folk music, singer songwriter stuff.
Favorite books	Anything by Neil Gaiman!
