IntroductionJennifer Lane, JD/MPA/MDiv graduated Vanderbilt Divinity School writing her final thesis on Soul Repair of Moral Wounds from War. She founded The Veterans Chapel, an ecumenical mobile chapel focused on performing healing rituals and liturgies and educating the greater Nashville area on the spiritual needs and communal care of Veterans, military personnel, and military families. She was a Chaplain at Operation Stand Down Tennessee working with homeless Veterans where her husband James was the 'IT guy'. James, an IT professional, Army Combat Veteran, and brewing entrepreneur is increasing his contribution to their ministry while taking care of their boys Justice Ryan, 4, and Donnelly James, 1. After serving the men and women of the 304th MP BN in Nashville, TN since 2012 and graduating from Army Chaplain School at Fort Jackson, SC on Aug. 15, 2014 she was ordained as an American Baptist pastor and went Active Duty as an Army Chaplain with the 209th Aviation Support Battalion on Wheeler Army Airfield November 1, 2016. James and Jennifer are happy to announce the beginning of James’ new nonprofit Brewery, The Black Bracelet Brewery.
