| Introduction | On Tuesday, June 17th, we'll be one of the first same-sex couples to be legally married in the State of California. We had been talking about doing this since the ruling was handed down on May 16th but we couldn't decide. The ruling allowed same-sex couples from anywhere in the U.S. to be married, effective June 16th at 5:01. A weekends worth of wedding activities for our friends/colleague cinched the deal. After Kevin, the groom, gave a heartfelt speech, Kelly turned to me and said, "we have to get married." Then we thought, while we're at it, why not do it on the first day and be part of history?! So, we'll travel from Minneapolis to San Francisco and keep you posted on the adventure - as often as possible. Thanks for following along. |
