| Introduction | Who am I? I sometimes don't know. My name is Arturo Thiele-Sardina but in the military I go by "TS". It had something to do with an Aggie Battalion Commander that I had who couldn't pronounce my last name so he called me 'TS" and that stuck. I until recently lived in Silicon Valley working for Sun Microsystems as a Logistics Program Manager. My other job is with the Army Reserves as a Colonel. I have just completed a 17th month deployment (Jan 07-May 08) to Kansas and then to Iraq for 13+ months. I am now back at home once again working for Sun. I am married to a lovely and wonderful Spaniard Carmen and we have two children, Ascension who is an RN and works down in San Bernardino as a Labor and Delivery Nurse and Javier who just graduated from high school and will start this fall as a Computer Science Engineering major down at Cal Poly. One of my favorite hobbies besides watching soccer, running and cycling is wine. There is nothing better than to be with some friends having a nice glass of wine and enjoying the moment. |
