She was born in Manila and raised in Makati in a Romblomanon household. She studied in Pasay, Manila, and Quezon City & worked with various media organizations in the same cities. She is now residing alternately in Makati & Cavite as a lecturer & writer. Her hobbies include writing essays, playing the bass, and strolling on the beach.
