| Introduction | Life is good! My parents provided an incredible upbringing, world travel, good education and great work ethic. I became self-supporting on my own in my junior year of high school in 1966 and then also started attending UC Davis. There I helped pioneer their first biomedical engineering major earning engineering and pre-med degrees. My inventions got me drafted to teach before my junior year and I taught until 1999 when I retired. My time off let me flip properties, build new businesses and do woodworking. I was drafted, joined the reserves then was activated serving in the Vietnam War as a loadmaster tail-gunner. I resumed teaching at UCD and CSU Sacramento inventing early PC technology. Our Governor's Office bribed me to be a troubleshooter with time off to teach giving me two nice incomes. I fixed problems, oversaw projects and organization, plus created many new organizations. After eight years the next administration drafted me for another eight years then moved me to a senior management position. I also helped raise two wonderful children. Most of my time now goes into helping others with dust collection. |
