Introduction | I have always loved arty things, even as a child. Once I left uni and starting teaching I found that I didn't have the time to carry on painting and playing with clay, so apart from the occassional drawing (I used to carry a sketchbook with me everywhere!) arty things stopped for a while. A few years ago I had the urge to make my own Christmas cards and about 6 years ago I took the plunge. Since then my hobby has grown - I manage to sell a few cards and receive quite a few commissions. I find that papercrafts are the perfect way to try and control a little bit of my work/life balance as I am a bit of a workaholic. Unfortunately I do not make enough money to retire or change careers just yet! My newest passion is feltmaking - definitely keeping the 'L' plates on just yet! |
