| Introduction | My name is Nancy, I live in the desert in So Cal and have a wonderful husband of many years and a son who is a young adult. I started this blog as a way to journal and share when I discovered that I was going to need a liver transplant. Why? Well, to say I loved my cocktails and good wine might be an understatement. Unfortunately my liver didn't agree with that. So I cut my relationship with alcohol and proceeded to learn everything I could about livers, transplant and my body and how to take care of it. I also am learning a lot about myself on this journey and what is really important. So, this is my road to transplant, how I am feeling about it, what I am learning and how I live my life as we wait.
