| Introduction | I am a 49 year old stay at home mom, amputee, daughter, girlfriend and hopeless Coke Zero addict. January 7, 2013 I lost my husband to cancer. Becoming a widow has been one of the hardest challenges I have ever faced. And then I became a left leg below knee amputee as of July 13, 2018, due to a horrible car accident. Other cast members of this blog include my oldest son, Tyler, who is also known as the pickle, my youngest boy Chase, also known as doodle or wooby, Jinx the black GSD, whom we lost 2.10.23, Marlie, the over-the-moon happy wiggle-butt Pit and our latest addition Blue, who is still a pup and rotten but has my heart! Plus our two crazy kitties Anaise and Bella. We are originally from MD, but moved to Knoxville, TN in October 2004. As of 2022, we were finally able to get our forever home in Virginia!! In any spare time I have, I love to scrapbook and just recently started doing digital scrapbooking! Join me as I ramble about raising two boys, adjusting to being an amputee and anything else I feel the need to babble about. |
